I do love the rain – LOVE it. It's so cleansing, refreshing, and amazing. It always reminds me of God's goodness and power (the latter usually from thunderstorms, but that's another post for another day).
What was so special about yesterday? Well, it was the first spring rain! I don't mean it was the first rain once the season officially became spring. What I mean is that it was the first spring rain. You know – SPRING! It smelled like spring. That fresh, clean, springy scent that often comes with this time of year!
I breathed in that scent as much as I could. And I smiled. :-) God is so good!

The first spring rain is so nice .We haven't had our first spring rain yet, but it will be nice when it comes. I am so happy that you got to enjoy yours!
